Past performance is a guarantee of future success! I became an Estate Agent in 1999, that's over more than two decades ago! It was a time in the Industry when it was almost unheard of for an agent to be under the age of 55 - after all who's going to trust a 23 year old with their most valuable asset? I truly feel my erstwhile business partner and I, were instrumental in changing the concept of what age an estate agent should be, especially in my area. My principal at the time was a brilliant trainer and understood the needs of younger people. She always had freshly baked banana loaf or muffins for us. She also got her husband to put up our show boards for us on Sundays, in order to make show houses bearable!! I miss those days. I joined my father's real estate business a couple years later. My clientele comprises of a wide variety of people. More and more often we are seeing people coming from the Southern Suburbs to the South Peninsula because they simply cannot find this value anywhere on the other side of the mountain. We are surrounded by 5 beaches and it's only a 35 minute drive to town. I am a highly competitive, compassionate, intuitive, caring, career driven person! I have a Mensa Certificate and I published my first book in 2019, which became a best seller, and for which I scooped a literary award. Highlight of my career so far? I have won the Chairman's Award twice for selling the 2nd most units within Jawitz nationally, and managing to nearly always secure my place in either the Pinnacle or Premier club over the past ten years.

I am blessed to live and work in one of the most beautiful suburbs of Cape Town with my incredible business partner Maryanne Coates, growing the Jawitz brand from strength to strength, and achieving top results in our area. And ending a busy day with a walk down to the beach with my life partner Dominic, my two children Aerin-Kiss and Finn, my two Golden Retrievers, Milly and Cooper, and Winston the Labrador.

I started my property career in 2000 and shortly afterwards teamed up with my close friend and sister-in-law. The two continued their successful partnership for the next 11 years, selling homes in the Noordhoek surrounding areas and winning awards along the way. It was during this time that their company became a Jawitz franchise. In 2011, I took a year's sabbatical after the arrival of my third child and rejoined the company behind the scenes by getting involved in the marketing and social media side of things. It wasn't long before my love of people, passion for property and strong attraction to Noordhoek's beach, mountains and incredible lifestyle, brought me back to selling homes. Partnered with Marissa Massari, the pair have delighted in matching buyer and homes ever since.

I entered the property market in Johannesburg in 2005 after owning a successful retail business in corporate clothing. In these past 17 years, I have worked for three of the largest real estate companies in SA and in my second year of working in property sales achieved the highest sales record award in that Company and from thereon gained more high achiever awards. My success enabled me to further fulfil my hobbies of travelling, art and photography and also take a year's sabbatical for studies through the University of Pretoria. I have been working in property in the South Peninsula, Western Cape for the past 7 years and have settled into living in nature with my Labradors. I can often be seen walking with them in the mountain or on the nearby beaches. My keen interest in property and passion for people is my motivation for helping my clients achieve their goals during the buying and selling process. I am currently working towards becoming a full status agent and have been training as an Intern Agent since February 2018 and recently received my Fidelity Fund Certificate. I enjoy providing support for my agents and working with a small committed team. I relish the new challenges of real estate, and particularly enjoy show houses and making use of my talent as a wordsmith. Kommetjie is a wonderful area and offers so much in terms of natural pursuits; walking, surfing, catching crayfish and enjoying sundowners. I moved to Simon's Town in 1987 when the village was still sleepy and a few years before the penguin colony was established at Boulders Beach. Looking out over the moonlit bay with its necklace of amber beads and witnessing the fantastic fiery winters sunrises always fills my heart with great joy. I am comforted by the six-second rotation of Roman Rock Lighthouse's beam - I feel at home having that landmark in my sights, and I am intimately familiar with each little pocket of this special place; I know which streets are more sheltered from the southeasterly wind than others, the silhouette of the mountains across False Bay is indelibly stamped on my mind, I know when to expect whales, where to find the finest pastries, what fynbos will appear at different times of year, and that in the cooler months, the ocean can settle down and become as glassy and smooth as a lake. I have raised two children here, observing the changing face of this historic naval town I love so much, and see that like me, people are continuously drawn to its many and varied charms. One of my personal fascinations is for the Cape Floral Kingdom - I am enchanted by the huge array of sometimes miniscule flowering plants that are so dazzling when viewed through a macro lens! I enjoy walking in the reserve and along the shoreline which also offers up its own small treasures from time to time. On the more cerebral side of things, I run a monthly trivia quiz at The Lord Nelson Inn which is great fun, and in true, relaxed, southern peninsula style, I enjoy spending time in the company of good friends over a glass of wine or two, at local eateries and at home. Now in my eighth year of property sales in adjoining areas, I am so excited to have joined the Jawitz Properties False Bay family with my focus squarely on Simon's Town.
